Restaurant Review: Gods Place Restaurant & Tea House

While riding the motorcycle around the area of Chapora in Goa, India we happened to pass a peaceful looking restaurant overlooking the Tesso Waterfront called Gods Place Restaurant & Tea House.

The thing that caught our eye actually was the fact that they accepted Bitcoin. – My husband is involved in the crypto world and so this for us was very exciting to see! –

Outside Gods Place Restaurant & Tea House

When you get off your bike to enter this gorgeous restaurant you immediately notice the popping pink walls that surround this peaceful tea house. – And the odd holy cow of course! –

There is also a parking area for you to use just opposite the road of Gods Place Restaurant & Tea House.

Inside Gods Place Restaurant & Tea House

Upon entering the walls you are welcomed by a plaza, some beautiful Indian pups and the main – and beautifully – decorated bar. The place was empty when we arrived, but it was clearly a hotspot for those who wanted a peaceful lunch or pot of tea and the opportunity to gaze out onto the picturesque scenery before it.

We were guided upstairs where there were low tables, cushions to laze on and even a hammock seat facing the water.

We took advantage of the peace and quiet, ordered a pot of Organic Lemongrass Tea and a mouth-watering Sattvic Bowl to sip and munch on while watching the sun go down in the distance. It was truly a delight and much needed moment or serenity and relaxation.

Late Lunch At Gods Place Restaurant & Tea House

While at the restaurant we ordered an Organic Lemongrass Tea and a Sattvic Bowl to share. The presentation of both the tea and the food was phenomenal and both were an explosion of flavour. It was completely vegan too!

Later on before the sunset a few more visitors came and enjoyed the views, the tea and, the food as we did. I wholeheartedly recommend this place if you are ever in the area. You will not regret it.

You can visit their facebook page to read more about them.

Have you been here? What did you think? If you have been in this area would you recommend any other restaurants? Perhaps I’ll visit. Let me know in the comments below.

Until the next post.
